Woman dies in elephant attack at Omugulugwombashe village

OSHAKATI,05 MAR (NAMPA) - A 46-year-old woman from Omugulugwombashe village in the Tsandi Constituency of the Omusati Region reportedly died after being trampled by an elephant on Thursday morning.

According to Namibian Police Force (NamPol)'s Omusati Regional Commander, Commissioner Ismael Basson, the incident occurred at around 11h30 at Omugulugwombashe village.

Basson said it is alleged that the elephant trampled the woman to death after it...
