German spies mix up college worker with far-right extremist

Berlin (dpa) - A worker at a Berlin college had a nasty surprise when Germany's domestic intelligence service confused her for a far-right extremist, leading the woman to lose her job. A report in the weekly newspaper Die Zeit on Wednesday said the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution had her under surveillance since 2022. Her name was the same as the pseudonym of a far-right extremist, who was the founder of a racist dating port......
