A tanker was hit off the coast of the United Arab Emirates by "debris from an unknown projectile", a British maritime security agency reported Wednesday, as Iran presses its retaliation campaign in the Gulf. The incident occurred early Wednesday, 10 nautical miles east of the Emirati city of Fujairah, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
