Serial copper theft suspect arrested again, granted bail

WINDHOEK, 26 FEB (NAMPA) - The Windhoek City Police have arrested a habitual offender allegedly linked to a wave of copper cable thefts targeting the capital’s critical infrastructure.
The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Moses Moses, was most recently apprehended on Sunday, 15 February 2026, after police officers reportedly caught him in the act of stripping a substation belonging to Nampower. Moses appeared in the Katutura Magistrate’s Court...
