U.S. bobsledder Meyers Taylor claims women's monobob gold in fifth Olympic appearance

CORTINA D'AMPEZZO, Italy, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- Five-time Olympian Elana Meyers Taylor of the United States claimed her first Olympic gold medal in the women's monobob at the Milan-Cortina Winter Games here on Monday. At 41, Meyers Taylor added another milestone to her career. She had previously collected two silvers in the two-woman event in 2014 and 2018, as well as two bronzes in 2010 and 2022, along with a monobob silver at Beijing 2022.......
