9 killed, 15 injured from rooftop snow within week in Russia

MOSCOW, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- Nine people have died and another 15 have been injured after snow and ice fell from rooftops across Russia during the past week, Russia's Emergencies Ministry said Monday. According to the ministry, hazardous weather conditions affected 32 regions over the past week, with more than 60 incidents related to snow slides and falling ice from building roofs reported in 25 regions.
