Venezuela's parliament has delayed a sitting scheduled for Tuesday that was expected to approve a landmark bill granting amnesty for imprisoned government dissidents as well as those who jailed them. The secretary of parliament said in a statement Monday that lawmakers will gather on Thursday instead, without specifying whether the bill would be on the agenda as Caracas faces pressure from Washington to free political prisoners.
