WASHINGTON, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- One person was shot inside Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville, U.S. Maryland, about a half-hour drive from Washington, D.C., local police said Monday on social media. Montgomery County Department of Police said on X that the department dispatched at 2:15 p.m. local time for the preliminary report of shots fired near the high school, and the department has "placed the campus on lockdown."
