Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum on Monday blasted US threats of tariffs on countries supplying oil to crisis-stricken Cuba, saying the measure would "strangle" the communist nation's people. "This sanction being imposed on countries that sell oil to Cuba is very unfair... sanctions that harm the people are not right," Sheinbaum told reporters.
