Joint venture between women's football league and DFB falls through

Frankfurt (dpa) - The planned joint venture between the new women's football league organization FBL and the German Football Federation (DFB) has been shelved for the time being, the 14 FBL clubs said in a statement on Thursday. According to the statement, the FBL concluded after its general meeting that the "positions and framework conditions communicated by the DFB in recent weeks" cannot be fulfilled.
