Vietnam's 2025 cashless payments valued at 28 times GDP

HANOI, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's total value of cashless payments in 2025 was about 28 times the country's gross domestic product (GDP), local daily VnEconomy reported Monday, citing the State Bank of Vietnam. Compared with 2024, cashless payment transactions last year increased by 42.21 percent in volume and 22.65 percent in value, the report said.
