MOSCOW, January 30 (RIA Novosti) - Annual inflation in Germany accelerated to 2.1% in January from 1.8% in December, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) said on Friday. "The inflation rate in Germany is expected to be +2.1% in January 2026. It is measured as the change in the consumer price index (CPI) compared with the same month a year earlier," Destatis said.
