France's Lecornu Invokes Article 49.3 to Pass Budget Bill Without Parliamentary Approval

MOSCOW, January 30 (RIA Novosti) - French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu invoked on Friday Article 49.3 of the French Constitution that allows passing bills without parliamentary approval to adopt the controversial state budget bill for 2026 amid political disagreements among lawmakers.  Earlier in January, two separate parts of the budget bill concerning revenues and expenditures were adopted in this manner​​​.
