German Migrant Deportations to Turkey Double in 2025 – Reports

MOSCOW, January 30 (RIA Novosti) - German deportations to Turkey more than doubled in 2025 compared to the year before, the Bild newspaper reported on Friday, citing government data. A total of 2,297 people were returned to Turkey last year, up from 1,087 in 2024 and 875 in 2023, making it one in every 10 deportations from Germany, the newspaper reported.
