The eurozone economy grew 1.5 percent last year, exceeding expectations as it picked up pace for the second year running, official data showed Friday. Analysts at Bloomberg had forecast growth in the single-currency area's economy at 1.4 percent, while the European Commission itself predicted growth of 1.3 percent.
