The price of silver tumbled under $100 Friday on profit-taking and as investors were reassured by US President Donald Trump's reported choice to head the Federal Reserve, according to analysts. Silver slumped more than 15 percent to $98.07 an ounce, having already slid Thursday following a record high the same day above $120.
