Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday said he was counting on the United States to help secure a week-long pause in Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy network due to a cold spell in the coming days. Zelensky thanked US President Donald Trump, who said his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin had agreed to halt strikes during freezing temperatures.
