Ethiopian Airlines suspends flights to Tigray

ADDIS ABABA, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- Ethiopian Airlines has suspended flights to airports in Ethiopia's northernmost Tigray region, local media reported on Thursday. Ethiopian Airlines has suspended flights scheduled for Thursday to airports in the Tigray region, including Mekelle, the regional capital, as well as other major cities such as Axum, Shire, and Humera, according to local media.
