Turkey's jobless rate falls to record low of 7.7% in December

Istanbul (dpa-AFX) - Turkey's unemployment rate dropped notably to a historic low in December, the Turkish Statistical Institute reported on Thursday. The unemployment rate fell to a seasonally adjusted 7.7% in December from 8.5% in the previous month. Further, this was the lowest rate since the data series began in 2005.
