China's cross-border trips hit 697 mln in 2025, setting record high

BEIJING, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- China's border inspection agencies handled 697 million inbound and outbound crossings in 2025, marking a 14.2 percent year-on-year increase and a record high, official data showed. Of the total, international visitors made over 82 million crossings, a 26.4 percent increase year on year.
