Lebanon's largest artificial lake shows signs of recovery after drought

BEIRUT, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) -- Lake Qaraoun, Lebanon's largest artificial lake is experiencing a significant recovery following heavy winter precipitation, offering relief after three consecutive years of severe drought. According to data from local authorities, the lake's water level has risen to 840.12 meters above sea level on Jan. 26, with stored water increasing to around 65 million cubic meters.
