Guangdong carbon market closes higher

GUANGZHOU, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) -- Carbon emissions allowances closed at 38 yuan (5.44 U.S. dollars) per tonne on Tuesday, 0.16 percent up from the last transaction day at Guangzhou Emissions Exchange. A total of 2,065 tonnes of allowances were transacted on Tuesday with a turnover of 78,470 yuan.
