1 (ABIDJAN, 26 JAN, AFP) - Dubai-based industrial group Mark Cables FZE today launched a 200-megawatt power plant in insurgency-wracked Burkina Faso, further buttressing the UAE's burgeoning economic footprint in Africa.

The Dubai-based group said the 180-million-euro ($213 million) project was completed in just six months and "marks a turning point in Burkina Faso'...
