'They are ready': German men back ski flying worlds for women

Oberstdorf, Germany (dpa) - German men's ski jumpers hope that more gender equality can be reached by having the women contest ski flying world championships as well. "They could basically start immediately. Some of them can fly really cool," German jumper Philipp Raimund said of the women's level at the men's worlds in Oberstdorf which ended on Sunday. The women had first World Cup flying events in March 2024 on the Norwegian hill of Vikersund.......
