Venezuela has released a Czech detained in September 2024 with four Americans and two Spaniards over an alleged plot to assassinate then-president Nicolas Maduro, the Czech foreign minister said on Friday. Jan Darmovzal, who is 35, was detained over alleged ties with US and Spanish intelligence agencies and the Venezuelan opposition.
