Guantanamo Bay detainee settles torture claim against UK government

London (PA Media/dpa) - A Guantanamo Bay detainee will be paid a "substantial" sum as he settles a legal claim against the UK government over his treatment, his lawyers have said. Abu Zubaydah has been detained by the US authorities since his capture in 2002, and in 2006 was sent to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where he has been held ever since.
