Myanmar's Shwedagon Pagoda draws over 6.95 mln visitors in 2025

YANGON, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar's Shwedagon Pagoda, also known as the Golden Pagoda, attracted over 6.95 million visitors in 2025, U Boe Thin, a member of the Shwedagon Pagoda Board of Trustees, told Xinhua on Friday. Among them, over 76,000 were foreign visitors, he said.
