Cambodia records drop in drug seizures in 2025

PHNOM PENH, Jan. 1 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia has recorded a decrease in the amount of narcotics seized in 2025, the Anti-Drug Department (ADP) said on Thursday. The authorities had detained 26,421 drug-related suspects last year, up 1.49 percent from 26,033 in 2024, the ADP said in a report, adding that 1,118 of the suspects were foreigners in 18 nationalities.
