Germany has dropped its investigation into Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov over alleged EU sanctions violations in exchange for 10 million euros ($12 million), prosecutors said Tuesday. Proceedings have been "provisionally suspended" and will be formally dropped once a payment has been received, the public prosecutor's office in Munich said in a statement.
