Sugar futures close higher

ZHENGZHOU, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- Sugar futures closed higher Wednesday in daytime trading on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE). The most active sugar contract for May 2026 delivery gained 119 yuan (16.89 U.S. dollars) to close at 5,262 yuan per tonne.
