New defence, economy ministers take office in Romania

BUCHAREST, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) -- Romania's new defence and economy ministers were sworn in on Tuesday at a ceremony, the Presidential Administration said. Radu Miruta assumed office as minister of national defence, while Irineu Darau was appointed minister of economy, digitalisation, entrepreneurship and tourism in Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan's cabinet.
