Trump says it would be "smart" for Venezuela's Maduro to step down

WASHINGTON, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Donald Trump said Monday that it would be "smart" for Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to step down as tension escalates between the two leaders. "Well, I think it probably would... That's up to him what he wants to do. I think it'd be smart for him to do that," Trump told reporters at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, when asked whether the goal was to force Maduro to leave power.......
