German woman's sentence cut on appeal for enslaving Yezidi girl

Koblenz (dpa) - A German woman and member of the Islamic State terrorist organization who was convicted of abusing a Yezidi woman as a slave has had her sentence reduced by some nine months. The woman was initially sentenced to nine years and three months in prision but the Higher Regional Court of Koblenz on Monday reduced the sentence to eight years and six months.
