Botafogo eyes Uruguayan forward Villalba

RIO DE JANEIRO, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Botafogo is in talks to sign forward Lucas Villalba from Uruguay's Nacional, the Brazilian Serie A side said on Wednesday. Villalba, who is contracted to Nacional until July 2028, has agreed to personal terms and will undergo a medical in Rio de Janeiro in the coming days, Botafogo sporting director Alessandro Brito said.
