England to play Uruguay and Japan ahead of Tuchel's final World Cup squad selection

LONDON, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- England will play Uruguay and Japan in two March internationals at Wembley as part of their final preparations before head coach Thomas Tuchel names his squad for the 2026 World Cup. The Three Lions are set to face Uruguay on Friday, March 27, followed by a clash with Japan on Tuesday, March 31. Tuchel is scheduled to announce his World Cup squad in May.
