3 dead after car-truck collision in northern Germany

BERLIN, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed on Friday when a car collided head-on with a truck in the northern German state of Lower Saxony, police said. The crash occurred at around 2 p.m. local time (1300 GMT) on state road L111, when a car attempted to overtake another vehicle in a right-hand bend and crashed into an oncoming truck, according to a police spokesman.
