Afghanistan begins construction of 200-bed hospital in Kunar Province

KABUL, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Afghan authorities have started the construction of a 200-bed hospital worth 4 million U.S. dollars in the eastern Kunar province, the official Bakhtar News Agency reported on Friday. According to the report, the new medical facility is being built with financial support from the Afghan government and is intended to enhance access to essential healthcare services for residents of Kunar and surrounding areas.
