WINDHOEK, 27 NOV (NAMPA) – The Swapo Party secured a preliminary lead in the Regional Councils and Local Authorities Elections Thursday night, having being confirmed as the winner in 56 constituencies in announcements made before midnight by the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN).

WINDHOEK, 04 June 2026 - The Roads Authority (RA) will install speed humps at selected locations along the B1 Western Bypass and a section of the A1 Road in the Khomas Region from Friday, following a rise in pedestrian-related crashes that have claimed lives on both routes.
