Afghanistan issues over 10 mln electronic ID cards in 4 years

KABUL, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- The National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) has issued 10.6 million electronic national identity cards across Afghanistan over the past four years, local media outlet Tolo News reported on Saturday. According to the report, NSIA currently operates 11 service centers nationwide and is preparing to open some additional offices dedicated to assisting Afghans living abroad.
