Guangdong carbon market closes higher

GUANGZHOU, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Carbon emissions allowances closed at 34.7 yuan (4.9 U.S. dollars) per tonne on Thursday, 2.36 percent up from the previous trading day at Guangzhou Emissions Exchange, the largest local carbon market in China. A total of 200 tonnes of allowances were transacted on Thursday with a turnover of 6,940 yuan.
