Self-driving Holon shuttle receives approval for German pilot project

Berlin (dpa) - A self-driving electric shuttle manufactured by German company Holon has received authorization to be tested nationwide. "The vehicle performs the driving task completely autonomously and is monitored by a safety driver acting as a supervisor," the manufacturer said on Thursday following approval by the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA).
