(Adds background in paras 5-6) MOSCOW, November 6 (RIA Novosti) - The Ukrainian government amended the draft state budget for 2026 ahead of its second reading in the Verkhovna Rada, increasing it by nearly $800 million, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko said. On September 15, Svyrydenko said the government had approved the draft state budget for 2026, with defense spending at approximately 2.8 trillion hryvnias (about $68 billion), or 27​......
