Strangulation in online pornography to be banned in UK

London (PA Media/dpa) - Online pornography which shows women being choked is to be banned in the United Kingdom, after a review found such images are rife on websites and have helped to establish it as a sexual norm. The possession and publication of images depicting strangulation and suffocation will be criminalized as part of a crackdown on violent pornography, the government said.
