Surfers concerned as Munich's famous river wave disappears

Munich (dpa) - The famous surfing wave on a stream in the southern German city of Munich has disappeared, surfers complained on Monday. The wave has not been forming since Friday, when the Eisbach stream was undergoing an annual cleaning process, said Mathias Schmidt from the Munich Surfing Community group. Authorities are looking into the cause of the wave's disappearance, which could be tied to the cleaning or due to a lack of water. A new l......
