OPUWO, 30 OCT (NAMPA) - The Chinese government has expressed its support for Namibia in its pursuit of reparations from Germany for atrocities committed during the colonial era.
The Namibian people are seeking reparations from the German government for the first genocide of the 20th century, which involved the extermination campaign against the Herero and Nama people in then German South West Africa, now known as Namibia, from 1904 to 1908.
