KATHMANDU -- Nepal's external trade surged in the first three months of the current 2025-26 fiscal year due to rising exports and imports, the Department of Customs said on Sunday. The total volume of foreign trade grew 26.04 percent year-on-year to 540.86 billion Nepali rupees between mid-July and mid-October, the department said in a report.
