Road construction launched in Afghanistan's Logar province

KABUL, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Construction of a road linking two districts to the provincial capital in east Afghanistan's Logar province was launched on Thursday, the state-owned Bakhtar news agency reported, citing a local official. The 32-km-long road, funded entirely from the national budget at a cost of more than 1 billion afghani (over 15 million U.S. dollars), was expected to be completed within 30 months, according to Mawlawi Janat Gul Sa......
