Sweden's producer prices rise 0.5%

Stockholm (dpa-AFX) - Producer prices in Sweden increased for the first time in seven months in September amid higher costs for energy-related products, data from Statistics Sweden showed on Friday. The producer price index rose 0.5% year-on-year in September, reversing a 0.7% decrease in August. Prices for energy-related products alone grew sharply by 16.4% from last year. Meanwhile, prices for consumer and capital goods declined 0.1% and 1%,......
