S. Korea's number of cattle, pigs down in Q3

SEOUL, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- The number of cattle and pigs raised in South Korea was down in the third quarter, with the number of chickens growing, statistical office data showed Friday. Domestic farms bred 3,422,000 beef cattle in the July-September quarter, down 4.4 percent compared to the same quarter of last year, according to Statistics Korea.
