British bank Barclays said Wednesday that its net profit dipped in the third quarter as it suffered a hit from exposure to US lender Tricolor, whose collapse recently spooked investors. Profit after tax fell seven percent to nearly £1.5 billion ($2 billion) in the three months to the end of September compared with a year earlier, Barclays said in a statement.
